Gabriel (Gabe) Gekoskie
Building on field recordings gathered during his previous Catwalk residency, Gekoskie will compose a new solo percussion work for timpani and interactive electronics, commissioned by percussionist Emma Kieselhorst and premiering at the 2025 Cortona Sessions in the Netherlands. His work reflects the interplay between technology, sound, and human emotion, continuing his exploration of the absurd and the profound in modern experience.
