The Residency

Catwalk Art Residency has hosted more than 500 artists since its inception.  Typically, four to six artists are in residence at one time and residencies are generally between two to four weeks in duration.  Most residencies take place during the spring, summer and fall seasons. 

One of the most important features of the residency is that it offers an entirely self-directed block of time for developing and creating art, while being in an extraordinary landscape. Opportunities for residents to socialize and share their work can happen as suits the needs and wants of the artists, for instance, shared meals or get-togethers on the grounds.

During the residency, daily life is self-sustaining. Residents provide their own meals as each accommodation has a fully equipped kitchen.  Laundry facilities are available. Residents are encouraged to have a car during their time at Catwalk to maximize their enjoyment of the area and to make shopping for food and necessities easier.
