Mary Hamilton
Catwalk Institute proudly shares news from playwright Mary Hamilton (Catwalk 2026, Collaborator), whose play 16 Winters, or the Bear’s Tale will receive a new production at the University of Iowa this November. Reimagining the sixteen-year gap in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, Hamilton’s play follows the characters through unexpected transformations involving a dad-rock band, a forest refuge, teenage rebellion, and a bear. Directed by Mary Beth Easley, the production runs November 6–14 at the David Thayer Theatre in Iowa City. Tickets range from $5 to $25, with reduced prices for students and youth.
