Catwalk Institute proudly shares news from composer, performer, and writer Kate Soper (Catwalk 2022, Collaborator), who joins Chicago-based Mycelium New Music for Epithets & Call for Spores on November 14. The program features the premiere of a new version of Soper’s Epithets for soprano and ensemble, drawing on the epithets of Homer’s Odyssey, alongside her duo So Dawn Chromatically Descends to Day. The concert also presents newly developed works by three composers selected through Mycelium’s 2026 call for scores. The performance begins at 8:30 PM at Constellation Chicago.
