Catwalk Institute proudly shares news from interdisciplinary artist Sari Nordman (Catwalk 2025, NYU/Tisch), whose new public artwork, Tree Flags, opens at Pelham Art Center in Pelham, New York, on November 14. Created from soft plastics collected and donated by community members, the fiber-art installation transforms everyday waste into a colorful work that invites reflection on environmental responsibility and our relationship with the natural world. Visitors are invited to meet Nordman at the opening reception on Saturday, November 14, at noon. The installation will remain on view in the center’s courtyard for six months.
