Keika Okamoto

Keika Okamoto is a Japanese visual artist based in New York and Japan. Working across drawing, painting, printmaking, and installation, her practice explores nature, with a particular interest in the transcendent and the role of spirituality in contemporary life. During previous stays at Catwalk, she focused primarily on drawing. She will continue developing her drawing series through observation of the Catskills and Hudson Valley while exploring the possibility of extending her practice into installation, allowing forms and images emerging from observation and imagination to take shape within the natural environment.
