Catwalk Institute proudly shares news from artists Michelle Inez Hinojosa (Catwalk 2026, Penn State) and Barbara Pearsall (Catwalk 2026, Collaborator), whose collaborative public artwork Turnabout Folly has been selected as the 2026 City of Lansing Arts Impact Project, receiving a $75,000 award. Planned for Marshall Park in Lansing, Michigan, the interactive installation centers on a rotating stage surrounded by three concentric rings of brightly painted walls. As visitors move the stage, the shifting environment reveals changing patterns and perspectives. Designed for visitors of all ages, the ground-level installation incorporates wheelchair-accessible openings and invites play, exploration, and creative discovery in a public park. An exact opening date has not yet been announced.
