Catwalk Institute proudly shares news from Sumakshi Singh (Catwalk 2006, SAIC), whose installation Permanent Address is featured in Geographies of Distance: remembering home, the National Pavilion of India at the 61st Venice Biennale. Using delicate embroidered thread, Singh reconstructs fragments of her grandparents’ demolished home in New Delhi, transforming architecture and personal memory into an immersive installation. The exhibition is on view at the Arsenale through November 22, 2026, offering visitors an opportunity to experience Singh’s work on one of the contemporary art world’s most important international stages.
