Noe Kidder is a New York City-based filmmaker known for her experimental works that often draw inspiration from nature and personal narratives. Born in 1974 in Syracuse, NY, she earned her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she studied experimental filmmaking with Tatsu Aoki. Her films have been showcased internationally, including at venues such as Anthology Film Archives, Millennium Film Workshop, and the Kuala Lumpur Experimental Film Festival.
A proud Catwalk alum, Kidder's latest film, Carmen Magellan, is an experimental, personal exploration of Flamenco, filmed on location in Spain and New York City. The film had its New York City premiere on September 30, 2023, at Le Petit Versailles, followed by a live Flamenco performance.
